Why look at a sample travel itinerary? General Ideas are all well and good, but I get overwhelmed sometimes when I look at travel guides and am trying to figure out how to put it all together. Being able to see a real trip, broken down day-by-day is the best way to get a sense of how to string all those locations together into the best vacation ever.
The links below are brokend down into two sections: Upcoming Trips and Completed Trips.
Check out the Upcoming trips to see vacations that I hope to take in the next 6-12 months. Trips that are much further off than that will likely just be written up as destination pieces: too much can change in a year to make it worthwhile to figure out specific details at a day-to-day level.
Completed Trips are just that: Here you can find a sample travel itinerary for every trip that I have planned out and taken. They will contain the information that they had when they were upcoming trips, but will also have updates to reflect any changes that came up when the trip actually happened.
Upcoming Trips:
These sample travel itineraries represent trips that I am planning on taking in the near future (typically within the next year), and represent what I think will be a good schedule. Once I take the trip it will be updated with any changes to the itinerary that I might have made as well as comments on things that I might decide to do differently.
